WHAT IS MFA?
The Muslim Family Academy is a unique Islamic weekend school at Masjid Vaughan for children 5 to 17 years old. Its primary objective is to nurture in each student the love of Allah ﷻ, His Messenger ﷺ and the Quran. As students mature with the program, they gradually advanced through a curriculum that helps them learn sacred knowledge that is personally obligatory (fard `ayn) with trained instructors in the field of Quran Recitation, Theology (Aqida), Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Spirituality (Ihsan), Etiquettes and Values (Akhlaq), and Prophetic Biography (Sira). The Academy's thought provoking pedagogy and contextual approach provides graduates the tools and confidence required to live as observant Muslims in North American societies.
