ABOUT THE SESSIONS
WITH SHAYKH MOAAZ SAFWAT
Abd Allah ibn al-Mubarak once said, “Isnad is from the religion; were it not for isnad anyone could say anything they wanted." Isnad is the process of transmitting reports accurately from their sources, and through it, Allah the Exalted has guarded our religion from corruption in text and in understanding. In these twelve evening sessions, Shaykh Moaaz Safwat will, by Allah's permission, narrate each hadith contained within Riyad al-Salihin (in Arabic only) through his chain of transmission back to Imam al-Nawawi himself. The sessions aim to authentically connect students with the Prophet ﷺ, his words and teachings through the baraka of the sanad, and to revive the noble tradition of hadith narration. Qualifying students will receive the Prophetic Authorization or Licence (Ijaza) to narrate Riyad al-Salihin (registration is mandatory).
